Lionhead Rabbits   have erect ears and adults should remain under 3 3/4 pounds

These little rabbits have a mane of wool encircling
their head much like a male African Lion. (Both male &
female Lionheads have a mane). the Lionhead Rabbit has normal fur on
the rest of their bodies. They are very friendly, easy to
train and make excellent pets. .

Holland Lops - The smallest of lop eared rabbits, very friendly and easily trained max weight of 4 pounds.

Netherland Dwarfs - The smallest of rabbits with a max weight of 2 and a half pounds, wonderful pets for older children.

Plush Lops -a small lop earred rabbit that resembles a holland lop weighing approx. 3-4 lbs with velvet, plush fur

English Lops - The largest of lop earred rabbits with ears that must be at least 21 inches tip to tip and no weight limit, they are sweet, rabbits with wonderful personalities but require large living areas and special care for their ears.

 

Velveteen Lops-the Velveteen Lop is primarily from the crossing of English Lops and Mini Rex.  The ideal Velveteen Lop is a miniature version of the English Lop's mandolin body type with length of ears to balance, along with the Rex (velvet) coat of fur. This medium-small breed weighs roughly around 5-6 pounds and will have a minimum of 14" ears when measured from tip to tip.   Both breeds' fabulous personalities come out through this crossing.
